WDMCS Community Education provides a wide variety of activities to choose from in the summer months. A full list of Summer of Learning programs is available now. Help your child find a program that sounds interesting, fun, or rewarding, and register today!

Impact of Coronavirus on Registration

At this time, registering your child(ren) for a Summer of Learning class will place their name(s) on a waiting list for that class. Please register your child(ren) for all classes in which they are interested; this will reserve their spot(s). Payment will not be required at this time. Upon confirmation that the class(es) will run (including any changes to dates and/or times), you will receive an email requesting that you complete the registration process and pay.

WDMCS Community Education is currently closed to minimize the spread of COVID-19. You can still register for Summer of Learning in the following ways:

Phone in your registration to 515-633-5001 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please have the registration information on page 19 of the catalog ready before calling to avoid delays.

Your phone call will go to voicemail and you will be asked to leave your name and phone number. WDMCS Community Education will return your call to complete the registration process. We thank you for your patience during this time!

In-person registration is on hold until further notice. Please do not mail completed registration forms
or drop off forms and/or payment at the LRC.

Summer of Learning Catalog

Due to the circumstances surrounding the coronavirus and its impact on our community, the Summer of Learning catalog will only be available online.

If you need help registering or would like to request a paper copy of the catalog, please contact Sue Otte, continuing education coordinator, at Paper catalogs will be available upon request after WDMCS schools resume, subject to district updates.
