Student Health & Safety

To prioritize student and family safety, program changes include smaller class sizes and modified class schedules. Participants and staff will be screened daily for any symptoms of illness. Finally, all programs will be run using health and hygiene guidelines, including frequent hand washing and disinfecting of surfaces, encouraged use of face masks by staff, and social distancing for staff and participants.

Visit our COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines web page for more detailed information.

Class Cancellations

Due to closures of all district buildings through at least June 30, 2020, the following programs have been cancelled for the summer of 2020: Safety Town and Safety Town Volunteers, Summer Strings, and Summer Adventures in Learning (SAIL). Rehearsal Band has also been canceled, but private lessons are available virtually.

In addition, Preschool Creations has been canceled due to the continued need for social distancing.

Summer of Learning Catalog

Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and changes to summer programming, we have removed the Summer 2020 catalog from the website to help avoid confusion.

If you would like to request a digital copy of the catalog, please contact Sue Otte, continuing education coordinator, at ottes@wdmcs.org. Paper catalogs will not be available this year.
