ParentQuest provides a wide variety of free learning opportunities for parents and other caring adults as they navigate each child’s unique path to success in school and life.
We offer classes and resources designed for parents of both young children and school-aged children.
For Parents of School-Aged Children
ParentQuest offers opportunities for learning about academics, cultural awareness, health and well being, parenting, WDMCS 101, and more. Each child’s path to success is unique, and ParentQuest provides relevant resources to help parents along the way. Classes are often led by WDMCS teachers, administrators, and staff, as well as by professionals from the area in question. Sessions align with the WDMCS academic calendar, with new offerings each spring and fall.
ParentQuest for Early Childhood
Our ParentQuest for Early Childhood classes are geared toward parents of young children, birth through preschool. We tackle subjects such as navigating childhood anxiety, healthy meal preparation, and literacy in early childhood, often with help from community partners. These classes are facilitated by Jessica Pierce, early childhood parent educator.
